Summary

  • Travis Scott (Oakley Chief Visionary) revived the legendary X-Metal Juliet as a hyper-limited MUZM collaboration
  • The sunglasses are forged from liquid metal titanium alloy, featuring Prizm™ Polar lenses and an individually serialized collector’s coin
  • The highly exclusive drop is accessible only via an unknown launch day raffle at the Oakley Japan Shibuya store

Oakley‘s most disruptive design is making a monumental return. The iconic X-Metal Juliet has been reimagined as a hyper-limited release, personally selected for revival by Travis Scott in his first major act as the brand’s newly appointed Chief Visionary. This exclusive Cactus Jack collaboration with Oakley celebrates the eyewear brand’s past while infusing the sought-after silhouette with modern innovation.

The MUZM X-Metal Juliet blends art with advanced engineering. Its frame is forged from a liquid metal titanium alloy under extreme heat, designed to fit the contours of the skull with unique temple shocks and adjustable components. The lenses feature Plutonite® Prizm™ Polar technology, ensuring precise optical clarity and performance. Scott’s vision honors the original’s radical construction and its legacy as a pinnacle of Oakley philosophy.

The entire drop is designed for exclusivity and high collectability. Each pair of the X-Metal Juliet comes with a collector’s coin that is individually serialized, cementing its status as a piece of functional art. Adding to the mystique, the Cactus Jack partnership is being celebrated with two distinct, friends-and-family colorways (Prizm Violet Polar & Prizm Snow Black) to mark the Tokyo takeover. The hyper-limited run is accessible exclusively through a launch day raffle at the Oakley Japan Shibuya store. Stay tuned online for more information coming soon.
