The North Face Launches the HKe Collection, a Fusion of Expression and Performance
The range unveils SPECTRA® technology, a hyper-durable, lightweight textile that emphasizes sleek utility in the outdoors.
The North Face has launched its HKe collection, a four-piece outerwear range driven by the all-new SPECTRA® technology, recognized for its durability and lightweight body feel. To unveil the collection, the brand tapped Dutch designer and artist Johannes Offerhaus to create an outdoor sculpture incorporating the SPECTRA® fabric. The large-scale installation, developed on-site by Offerhaus and his team, who traveled by foot, showcases how the new line coalesces with natural environments, endures the elements and inspires the spirit of exploration.

The HKe Collection marks a new frontier of performance and lifestyle. With the arrival of SPECTRA®, The North Face balances the ethos of utility with minimalist design codes that appeal to today’s modern adventurers. Sleek, technical and adaptable, the new line introduces the HKe Devils Thumb GORE-TEX®, HKe TNF™ Tek Approach and HKe Utility Wind Jackets. The HKe Devils Thumb GORE-TEX® features the brand’s waterproof, 100% recycled GORE-TEX® fabric as the outer shell, with SPECTRA® fabric fused into key abrasion zones. For a more streamlined fit, the HKe TNF™ Tek Approach Jacket is a great layering option. It offers the performance of a technical windbreaker in a durable yet soft layer shell.
The HKe Utility Wind Jacket incorporates FLASHDRY™ technology to help mitigate moisture, along with a water-repellent finish. Topping off the collection is the HKe Kalix Down Hooded Jacket, a more substantial, winter-ready silhouette designed with a 700-fill down insulation, a water-repellent Pertex® Quantum body fabric and Spectra® ripstop to provide optimal coverage in key abrasion zones. The attached adjustable hood with cinch-cord features and the adjustable balaclava mask provide added protection against the elements when paired.
