atmos and New Balance are reuniting to introduce the 1906R “Blue Moon.” This new design is inspired by the concept of “inversion,” flipping the original 1906 colorways to the opposite side of the color wheel. This incorporates a design philosophy centered on the contrast of “front and back” and “light and shadow.”
The sneaker’s construction features a mesh upper, similar to the previous 1906R silhouette, which ensures a light, breathable and comfortable fit. The black and silver color scheme embodies the theme of “night” and “moon,” contrasting with the original M1906RA‘s white and gold palette, which represents “morning” and “sun.” A standout feature is the blue reflector embedded in the N logo, which emits a subtle glow in low light, evoking the mystical presence of a blue moon floating in the night sky.
In addition, customers who successfully purchase the U1906RAC “BLUE MOON” through the atmos online store will be entered into a lottery for a novelty ring watch. The watch dial is specially designed to align with the “Blue Moon” theme of the sneaker.
