Travis Scott and Drake‘s ASTROWORLD hit “SICKO MODE” is officially the second-highest-certified rap song in history.
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) confirmed that the 2018 track has now sold over 16 million units in the United States, certifying it as 16x platinum. “SICKO MODE” and Drizzy’s own Scorpion cut “God’s Plan” are now tied as the second-highest-certified rap song in history.
The news arrives shortly after the RIAA certified La Flame and Kendrick Lamar‘s 2016 collab “goosebumps” as 17x platinum, making it the highest-certified rap song yet.
“SICKO MODE” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was the first rap song to spend at least 30 weeks in the top 10. The track also went on to receive GRAMMY nominations for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song.
