Timberland & TELFAR Debut a *VERY* NYC Collaboration

As New York City tradition goes, when Fall rolls around, Timberland boots flood the Big Apple’s streets in various forms. While Timberland’s classic boots have been a long-time fixture of the city’s style, TELFAR‘s now ubiquitous Shopping Bag is a relative newcomer to NYC’s signature dress codes. At 20 years in business, it only makes sense that the NYC-based label is collaborating with the American footwear purveyor on a special collection of boots and bags.

The collaboration is led by the Timberland x TELFAR Tall Pull-On Boot, an unstructured 26” shoe offered in pebbled nubuck leather. Designed to be worn slouched, draped, or folded over to expose the branded suede, the all-new model is rendered in classic “Wheat” and “Black” colorways. In addition to a shorter Mid Pull-On Boot, the Timberland x TELFAR Slip-On Shoe is a pared-back mule version of the boot — very much in line with the loafer-adjacent styles taking over fashion.

And what would a TELFAR collaboration be without new handbags? The Timberland x TELFAR Shopper bag is crafted from pebbled nubuck leather in three sizes, also available in wheat and black variants. The thick nubuck leather, finished with no lining, offers a luxurious drape and boasts the TELFAR logo burnt onto the front side. Finally, for a Timberland touch, each bag is studded with four natural rubber feet, evoking the recognizable lugged Timberland soles.

Lastly, but surely not least, the collaboration is rounded out with an all-new bag model, the Timberland x TELFAR Slouchy Bag. Designed with an oval base studded with Timberland’s rubber treads, the bag features a ruched drawstring closure and two exterior shell pockets. The unstructured bag echoes the visual language of the slouchy boots, while hiding an orange nylon lining for added interest.

While all bags and black footwear variants are exclusive to TELFAR, Timberland will stock the wheat boot and loafer styles. The Shopper ranges from $225 to $600 USD, depending on the size, and the Slouchy Bag is priced $700 USD. Footwear starts at $225 USD for the loafer,  $350 USD for the Mid Boot, and $600 USD for the Tall Boot.

The Timberland x TELFAR collection is available now, exclusively on telfar.net and in store at 408 Broadway. Starting October 8, Timberland will begin offering the collection on timberland.com and select Timberland stores.
