Summary
- Japanese brand Stein and Umbro are launching their first collaboration
- The 8-piece collection blends retro football sportswear with a 1990s aesthetic
- It will be available from November 1 at Stein’s online store and select retailers
Japanese apparel brand Stein, founded by Kiichiro Asakawa, is teaming up with Umbro for their first collaborative collection, seamlessly blending retro football sportswear with contemporary fashion.
The collection draws inspiration from Umbro’s historical relationship with the England national team, which famously won the 1966 FIFA World Cup. It highlights Umbro’s dedication to providing full support to soccer players, both on and off the field, by integrating Stein’s distinctive apparel materials and silhouettes with a 1990s aesthetic.
Comprising eight pieces, the entire collection is crafted from a nylon-cotton dump fabric and a water-repellent linen-nylon woven fabric. Key items include track jackets and matching track pants, padded jackets, wide jeans crafted from vintage denim, high-gauge fleece tops, as well as and caps made from Italian OLMETEX twill.
The Stein x Umbro collection, priced from ¥16,000 – ¥84,000 JPY (approx. $100 – $550 USD), will be available from November 1 at the official Stein online store and select retailers.
