Swiss running brand On linked up with Korean design collective POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF) once again for their latest collaboration, “Current Form 3.0.” Set for an October 9 release date, the latest collection introduces the Cloudmonster Hyper PAF — a discreet synthesis of On’s signature performance technology with PAF’s sleek design ethos.
Combining the upper from the Cloudmonster 2 PAF with the advanced sole unit of the Cloudmonster Hyper, the Cloudmonster Hyper PAF is rendered in a futuristic, precision-engineered silhouette. The design is said to symbolize the power of embracing unexpected change and letting go of old habits, facets of speed’s transformative power.
Keeping the focus on functionality, the three colorways are quietly neutral. The White colorway is the simplest, boasting a warm cream hue all over the body. The black colorway is accented with a curved white tongue that fluidly extends into the medial side, evoking the Orca whale — whose streamlined shape allows it to swim at fast speeds. Lastly, the Apollo colorway is a tonal gray colorway inspired by moon dust. In addition to the three easy colorways, the range is completed with the PAF Merino Sock, which adapts soft wool for performance purposes.
