Moser & Cie. has unveiled the Pioneer Centre Seconds Purple Mist, a limited edition created to mark the 76th anniversary of King Fook Jewellery and produced exclusively for the new masterpiece by king fook boutique in Hong Kong. The 40 mm timepiece is crafted in lightweight titanium, paired with a uni‑directional rotating bezel and a curved sapphire crystal, delivering a sporty yet elegant presence suitable for daily wear.
The watch’s Purple Haze fumé dial features sunburst finishing and a smoked treatment that references the celebratory “Purple Mist from the East” expression, which has been associated with luck and renewal through ancient Chinese culture. Applied indices in Globolight® and hour markers treated with Super‑LumiNova® enhance low‑light legibility, while applied hands and finishing details reinforce the model’s contemporary aesthetic.
Inside, the Pioneer Purple Mist houses the in‑house HMC 200 automatic caliber, equipped with a bi‑directional pawl winding system and a Straumann® hairspring. The movement runs at 21,600 vph, contains 27 jewels, offers hacking seconds and delivers a minimum three‑day power reserve, combining robust technical credentials with refined finishing.
Limited to just 38 pieces, the watch is offered with both a titanium bracelet and a black rubber strap for versatility.
