The First Look at Salehe Bembury x PUMA
Arriving after Bembury revealed the forthcoming partnership back in July.
Back in July, Salehe Bembury teased an imminent PUMA partnership in an ambiguous Instagram post in which he holds a “TOP SECRET PUMA IDEAS” folder in front of a PUMA-logoed plane. A few weeks later, the footwear imprint shared more details on the partnership, revealing that Bembury will be assisting the PUMA Hoops team, contributing to a signature shoe and taking part in the athlete recruitment process.
Now, about six months later, Bembury has taken to Instagram once again to share the first images of what his PUMA era might look like.
While the joints resemble running shoes rather than basketball sneakers, the first Salehe Bembury PUMA pickups are dipped in one of Bembury’s signature bright colorways.
Its textured midsole takes a bright blue hue and is defined by its wavy patterning, while the upper is dominated by a lime green shade and elevated with brown webbing. The PUMA formstrip takes a speckled navy structure, with a yellow PUMA x Salehe Bembury logo landing on the medial side of the upper.
