The gameplay trailer for the PGA TOUR 2K25 has landed. Immersing players in some of the most storied courses and tournaments of the PGA Tour, the imminent new game – featuring the likes of cover pros Tiger Woods, Max Homa and Matt Fitzpatrick as well as rising star Rose Zhang – is set to include a lineup of enhanced new features.

Players will tee up against both PGA TOUR pros and custom MyPLAYERS* – who can don the likes of Titleist, Callaway, COBRA and adidas – on courses including the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow, the U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club, and the 153rd Open at Royal Portrush Golf Club, as well as PGA TOUR tournaments such as the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am at Pebble Beach.

An evolved EvoSwing mechanic and Perfect Swing lead the list of new features. The new EvoSwing mechanic comes complemented by new shot types, ball flights, roll physics and visual improvements. A player’s swing is broken down into four components – contact, rhythm, transition and swing path – each of which is measured accordingly.

Perfect Swing makes its debut as “an all-new difficulty setting that reduces the material impact of external factors on a player’s swing,” a press release explains.

XP bonuses, earned attribute points, and skill trees all unlock rewards throughout the game, while the Cross-platform Ranked Matchmaking feature makes a comeback for the more competitive golfers.

PGA TOUR 2K25 Standard Edition will be available worldwide on Friday, February 28. Players who pre-order PGA TOUR 2K25 Deluxe Edition and PGA TOUR 2K25 Legend Edition are entitled to up to seven days of Early Access beginning Friday, February 21.
