Oklou Taps Bladee for "take me by the hand"
An atmospheric new single from the duo.
French singer, producer and DJ Oklou has enlisted Bladee to contribute to her newest single “take me by the hand.” The latest cut lifted from the electropop songstress’ imminent album, Choke Enough, “take me by the hand” is a dreamy, three-minute cut carried by atmospheric synths and the duo’s hazy vocals.
The track marks the second link-up between Bladee and Oklou, albeit the first was an unofficial one; Oklou offered up a remix of Bladee’s “Rainbow.”
“take me by the hand” arrives alongside its official music video, starring both Oklou and Bladee. One user described the track as “nostalgic but futuristic at the same time” in the comments.
Oklou has packaged the new single in a five-pack including recent singles “choke enough,” “harvest sky,” “obvious” and “family and friends.” The song – which Oklou has been teasing on social media for a minute now – marks the eighth track confirmed to appear on Choke Hold, which is due out in February. Bladee is one of just two features, with the other coming from underscores.
