Chet Lo Brings Signature Spikes to Furniture Collection
Produced by Rankin Editions, the three-piece range includes a couch, chair and pillows.
London-based designer Chet Lo is the latest fashion designer to venture into furniture design, releasing a tactile collection that includes a couch, chair, and pillows.
Created in collaboration with London-based design studio Rankin Editions (founded by Amber Rankin), the collection blends Lo’s signature spikes with the furniture brand’s futuristic aesthetic.
“We wanted to create pieces that don’t just sit in a room but transform it,” Lo said. “The spikes evoke strength and individuality, while Rankin Edition’s silhouettes bring functionality and modernism. Together, the pieces challenge the way we perceive furniture.”
Across the collection, Lo wanted to create a sense of curiosity through the textures on the furniture’s surface. The silhouettes are based on pieces already in the Rankin Editions collection but are covered with Lo’s textile for this edition. Sizes vary: the couch is a centerpiece with its large, swooping form, while the chair—while still visually striking thanks to the spike detail—is compact.

The collection is complete with a set of pillows in a red, navy, and white color palette. Each piece is made to order and is handcrafted in the UK by local craftspeople – accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
“This collaboration is about more than furniture; it’s about storytelling through design,” Rankin said. “Chet’s spikes are bold and unapologetic, and they bring an exciting tension to our forms, creating something truly unique.”
