Ja Morant‘s second signature shoe with Nike is receiving a nostalgic makeover, including one that takes a childhood favorite drink and turning it into a shoe colorway. Stirring things up in the footwear collaboration world, the Nike shoe bursts with colors, taking a sugary turn inspired by the color gradients of two of the brand’s most iconic flavors. The left sneaker channels the vibrant Blue Raspberry Kool-Aid hue, transitioning from light blue to black near the collar on the heel. As for the right shoe, Cherry Red comes through at the toes and fades into the orange toward the heel. Unmistakable Kool-Aid branding can be seen on the tongue which features the iconic character in his pose breaking through a while with his catchphrase, “Ohhh Yeah!” printed on the reverse side. The sneaker’s medial and lateral profiles are splattered with paint details and knit-like textures hit the upper and complement the black Swoosh branding.
