Ball Out in Balenciaga's New Hoops Collection

In September, Balenciaga unveiled a futuristic basketball sneaker as part of its Summer 2025 collection, which, after the Demna-led label’s Under Armour collaboration, felt right in line with the brand’s sports-infused endeavors. That shoe, however, wound up being the precursor to a much larger presence on the court: today, Balenciaga has revealed a full-blown Basketball Series collection filled with game-ready fits.
The athletic lineup features matching jacquard sport knit jerseys and shorts, both of which are going for a whopping $2,190 USD. Techno poplin tracksuit jackets boast the Spanish luxury label’s moniker above the number “01”, as do T-shirts and long-sleeve tops in a range of hues, including purple, blue, black and white. Caps similarly host the House’s name and number on the brim, while baggy sweatpants and shorts keep it simple with the imprint’s Loop Sports Icon logo.
The most expensive item in the collection is the semi-shiny cowskin bomber, which is listed for an eye-boggling $9,090 USD. Made in Italy, the pricey silhouette features two slash pockets at the front, as well as basketball artwork embroidered across the front and back of the design.
