WIND AND SEA x NBA Connect Again for '90s Inspired Collection With 'PaRappa the Rapper'
The rhythm video game underscores the graphics for the collection.

Basketball season is upon us and WIND AND SEA is gearing up with an NBA collaboration co-created by the hit ’90s hit rhythm action game PaRappa the Rapper. In the brand’s first-ever triple collaboration, the collection is nostalgic yet timely, bringing an exclusive aesthetic to the Japanese brand.
Titled “BEAT ON THE COURT,” the collection highlights iconic NBA teams and their uniform branding from the ’90s. Teams named in the collaboration include the Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks, Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers. PaRappa the Rapper was a popular rhythm game released in 1996 known for its cartoon-like characters. The characters, created by New York-based illustrator Rodney Greenblat, have been featured in the capsule, giving it a playful touch. The characters are portrayed holding basketballs, in-line with the theme and seen on t-shirts, sweatshirts, beanies, bucket hats, loose socks and original stickers.
The collection is now available online.
