The Weeknd and Playboi Carti Debut New Collab in Brazil
The XO Records head just announced his upcoming album ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow.’
The Weeknd and Playboi Carti have unveiled a brand new collab, which they performed live at the former’s weekend show in Brazil.
The joint clocks in at about two-and-a-half minutes and hears Carti drop his distinct verses over a thumping electronic beat. Meanwhile, The Weeknd delivers vocal riffs before diving into his signature crooning, and the pair ends their track with an epic outro. A release date or title for the collab are yet to be announced.
Earlier this month, The Weeknd officially announced his upcoming album Hurry Up Tomorrow — the final installment in his recent trilogy comprised of Dawn FM and After Hours. A press release describes the record as “the creative apex of the project, serving as the third and final chapter crafted with existential and self-referential themes as seen with the latest visionary teasers that have set fans ablaze with anticipation for this concluding installment.”
