TAG Heuer Elevates the Carrera Extreme Sport Series With An Array of New Models
Spanning four chronographs and and two chronograph tourbillons.
TAG Heuer’s latest unveiling sees an array of Carrera Extreme Sport reimaginings. Launching as both a sequel and modern reinterpretation of its notable series, the new watches are the latest specimens born from TAG Heuer’s rich racing heritage and thirst for innovation.
All six references are characterized by rhodium-plated skeleton dials, adorned with openworked azuré chronograph counters. Arriving in blue, orange, black and black with 18k 5N rose gold plating, the Carrera Chronograph Extreme Sport models boast a 44mm-sized watch case crafted from grade 2 titanium. Prices range from 8,000 CHF – 12,000 CHF (approx $9,457 – $14,185 USD), these pieces are equipped with in-house TH20-00 movements and comes accompanied by intergrated rubber straps that mirros the color of their respective model’s dial.
The Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Extreme Sport is offered in two variants. Attired in titanium, one version boasts an all-black and is outfitted with a forged carbon tachymeter fixed bezel. The other version stars a luxurious bi-material construction comprised of 18k 5N solid rose gold. Retailing between 25,500 CHF – 32,000 CHF ($30,144 – $37,827 USD), the pieces measure 44mm in case diameters, while being powered by the TH20-09 Manufacture caliber.
