Purple Mountain Observatory’s “Excavation” Collection To Land on HBX
Featuring styles such as the Alpine Camo Pants, DWR-finished Breeze Jacket and Waves Light Puffer.
Purple Mountain Observatory’s Fall/Winter 2024 “Excavation” collection is set to release on HBX this weekend.
This season, the London-based outdoors and activewear label looked to Britain’s Copper and Slate quarries for inspiration. While the landscape’s hues are a core reference for the collection’s earthy base palette, splashes of vivid tones are also incorporated as homage to the workers at the Copper and Slate quarries.
Centering on protection and comfort, the collection consists of a bevy of weather-appropriate styles for navigating rugged terrains. New silhouettes and pieces are also introduced, which include the lightweight and extreme-weather-ready Deluge Pants, performance-enhancing Terrain Pants, as well as the Ridge Jacket and Shield Puffer in a Barnacle Mesh fabrication.
An array of classic pieces are also brought back for the new seasonal range, such as the classic Alpine Pants in a new camouflage print, Climate Hooded Jacket, Waves Light Puffer and DWR-finished Breeze Jacket in a gradient hue to name a few.
Preview the range in the gallery above. The Purple Mountain Observatory’s FW2 “Excavation” collection will be available to shop via HBX starting September 15, 9 a.m. EST.
