Panerai Readies a Quartet of Navy SEALs Submersible Watches

Following the release of Panerai’s new Submersible QuarantaQuattro Luna Rossa timepiece, the watch brand continues to expand on its Submersible line with a new capsule range honoring Navy SEALs.

Comprising four references in total, the lineup includes the Submersible QuarantaQuattro Navy SEALs PAM01518, Submersible QuarantaQuattro GMT Navy SEALs Carbotech™ PAM01513, Submersible Navy SEALs Titanio PAM01669 and Submersible Chrono Navy SEALs Titanio PAM01521.

PAM01518 and PAM01513 both arrive in 44mm case sizes, with the former coming in a brushed AISI stainless steel build with 30 ATM water resistance, while the latter boasts a 50 ATM underwater resistance, Carbotech™ case and bezel housing and added GMT function.

As for the PAM01669 and PAM01521, both references boast a much larger case width, measuring 47mm. The first model arrives in a brushed titanium case that’s paired with a Carbotech™ bezel and is capable of withstanding 30 ATM underwater. With a water resistance of 50 ATM, the PAM01521 sports a titanium DLC case with a matching bezel and is geared with an array of technical functions, spanning a flyback chronograph, time to target, calculation of immersion time, stop-seconds, seconds reset for precise time setting alongside the quintessential hour, minutes and central seconds indicators.

Drawing its design inspiration from the special force, all four models feature rubber and textile straps in a desert camouflage pattern. To emphasize the watches’ link to the Navy SEALs, all the casebacks are engraved with the force’s official “SEAL Trident” insignia. The watches are all outfitted with dials in a black-to-anthracite gradient and though, all run on different mechanical movements, all are equipped with up to three days of power reserve.
