Off-White™ Announces Official Partnership With WNBA Team New York Liberty
Marking its first U.S. sports team partnership.
Off-White™ has entered into its first partnership with an American sports team. The Milan-based streetwear company founded by the late Virgil Abloh continues to bridge the connection between fashion and sports. The brand has announced a new multi-year partnership with WNBA team, New York Liberty.
To mark the start of their multi-year collaboration as the team’s first official style and culture curator, the team was presented with a first-of-its-kind varsity jacket to wear to the first game of the playoffs. The partnership leans into the intersection of style, sports and culture in New York and through this new brand relationship, Off-White™ will be releasing unique fashion capsules each year, all while driving authentic community programming and partnering with Liberty players to celebrate Women’s History Month, Black History Month and Pride. This announcement comes a week after Off-White™ showed its collection for the first time during New York Fashion Week. Just as how Off-White™ is a catalyst for change, the Liberty team are similarly disrupters in their space.

The team debuted their new varsity jackets over the weekend for the Liberty’s first 2024 playoff game at Barlcays Center. The custom Off-White™ jackets top off the beginning of the partnership.
