Le PÈRE's FW24 Collection Features Collaboration with Artist Drew Tyndell
Blending abstract forms with sportswear motifs.

Le PÈRE, the cult New York-based menswear brand, launches its fifth collection for Fall/Winter 2024, featuring a collaboration with Portland-based animator and illustrator Drew Tyndell. The collection explores the fusion of abstract forms and shapes with subverted sportswear motifs, drawing inspiration from boxing and wrestling garment aesthetics.
Key pieces include the Jock Tee, which combines a classic ’90s basketball jersey front with a t-shirt base, inspired by films like White Men Can’t Jump. The collection also incorporates elements of brutalist architecture, balancing expressive designs with punk-inspired denim washes and darker colors. Le PÈRE continues its signature style of juxtaposing traditionally hyper-masculine clothes with expressive sensuality.
Tyndell’s contribution is evident in pieces like the Tyndell Sweater, featuring multicolor mohair stripes in nonlinear patterns. His abstract, impressionist multicolor head motif appears on the Tyndell Face Sweater and Tyndell Pullover as varied print applications. This collaboration marks Tyndell’s first venture into fashion, bringing his background in animation, graphic design and abstract expressionism to the collection.
Part one of Le PÈRE’s FW24 collection is now available on Le PÈRE’s official website and in stores.
