PlayStation's New Fashion Collection Is No Glitch
The Sony gaming imprint teamed up with F.C. Real Bristol and SOPH. for a football-infused streetwear lineup.
While rumors float about the return of PlayStation’s Nike Air Force 1 Low, the Sony gaming imprint’s streetwear stake is only leveling up. The fan-favorite console has teamed up with the football lifestyle label F.C. Real Bristol and Japanese fashion brand SOPH. for a 28-piece lineup fit for on and off the pitch.
Inspired by the “fictional story of PlayStation,” the collection includes classic football shirts sporting the brand’s logo front and center, much like an actual team sponsor’s iconography would be. Silky striped iterations, in both light blue and black-and-white finishes, feature open collars and short sleeves; while long-sleeve versions (akin to goalie shirts) employ two front pockets and a nylon build.
Down the line, there’s a tracksuit for everyone, with metallic, white and black iterations hosting more minimal branding across the body. SOPH. and F.C. Real Bristol’s badges remain humble on the chests of windbreakers, while PlayStation’s controller motifs offer an IYKYK nod to the gamer’s universe. Track pants, meanwhile, let PlayStation’s logo run down the left leg, while SOPH. and F.C. Real Bristol stay up top on the thigh.
PlayStation’s F.C. Real Bristol x SOPH. collection will become available to shop online and in SOPH.’s stores on August 23. Take a look at the lineup in the gallery above.
