MAAP Opens Airy Concept Store in Seoul
The global brand is also developing two more spaces in Berlin and Taipei.
MAAP has opened the doors to its new MAAP LaB concept space in Seoul. Like the cycling kits they make, the Melbourne-hailing brand’s new store is clean, for-ward-thinking and thoughtfully designed.
A green door to the store is subtly nestled within a white brick building with a bike ceremoniously mounted on a wall outside. Indoors, the space is light and airy. Light gray floors and floor-to-ceiling windows keep things open, while white pillars add a bit of structure.
The color in the room mainly comes from the cycling apparel itself, as MAAP is known for the ombre style colorings of its jersey. Elsewhere, a green tiled counter and pink dressing room add an additional pop.
Similar to its other MAAP LaB locations, the brand will host bike rides out of the space. MAAP already operates stores in Melbourne and Amsterdam, with future stores in Hong Kong, Singapore, Taipei and Berlin to come.
