Longines Expands the Spirit Flyback Line With Two New References
Arriving in green with yellow gold and brown with rose gold.
In broadening its Spirit Flyback line, Longines has added a duo of fresh iterations to its roster, both boasting retro-coded colorways.
One model spotlights a matte shaded green dial with a matching ceramic bezel insert and is paired with an 18-carat yellow gold crown, pushers and bezel cap. Similarly, the other reference features a shaded brown dial and bezel insert, creating a harmony of retro warmth with its 18-carat rose gold bezel cap, pushers and crown. Plated in yellow gold or rose-fold, the Arabic numerals and hands are all coated in Super-LumiNova® Old Radium to ensure readability in the dark.
Both colorways measure 42mm in width and are encased in stainless steel, adding a touch of cool tone that breaks up the watch face and its matching colored-leather strap. The dials are embellished with two tonal subcounters, providing the watches with flyback chronograph functionalities as powered by its COSC-certified L791.4 caliber.
The movement is viewable through the open caseback, beating at 28,800 vibrations every hour, complete with a power reserve of 68 hours. Decorating the caliber is a micro-rotor in either yellow gold or rose gold that’s specially engraved with “LONGINES FLYBACK.”
