Eastpak’s Resist’r Case Is a Statement of Functionality and Contemporary Style
Marking a new chapter in its evolution of hard-shell luggage.
Eastpak, the American lifestyle brand, is expanding its luggage portfolio with the introduction of a new hard-shell suitcase.
Honing in on Built To Resist attitude and longstanding 30-year warranty, the aptly titled Resist’r Case is designed to combat the wear and tear of any trip. In an interpretation of its signature suitcase silhouette, the latest model comes with a minimalistic, rectangular shape, seeing the seams and trims from its iconic canvas version mimicked in coved lines.
Making up the hard-wearing base of the Resist’r Case is a combination of sturdy yet lightweight polycarbonate construction overlaying a high-quality aluminum frame. On the lateral sides of the suitcase, the brand also incorporates four bumpers for extra protection in spaces such as airplane cabins and car trunks.
In addition to the body, a range of premium luggage components – including soft closing handles, two TSA clip locks, and Japanese silent spinning wheels – come together to make the case move and function seamlessly. With the industrial material make-up contributing to a contemporary look, Eastpak continues to elevate the utilitarian aesthetic through offering three sleek color options: “Black,” “Fire Red,” and “Brushed Metal.”
The Resist’r Case is available in three sizes – cabin, medium, and large – suited for all types of travel. Shop the new model at select retailers including END, Overkill, Ekseption, and Galeries Lafayette as well Eastpak’s U.S. website from August 27, with a wider release on its global website from September 17.
