Carhartt WIP and Civilist Unveil Second Collaborative Collection
Fusing Berlin’s skate culture and workwear heritage.
Carhartt Work In Progress (WIP) and Berlin-based skate store Civilist have joined forces once again to create a limited six-piece capsule collection. This collaboration merges Carhartt WIP’s workwear heritage with Civilist’s deep roots in Berlin’s skateboarding culture, resulting in a unique blend of style and function.
The collection features an Active Jacket, Brandon Short and crewneck sweatshirt, all adorned with intaglio-inspired graphic patches and embroidery. These distinctive graphics also appear on a selection of t-shirts and skate decks available in two sizes. The color palette focuses on sharp blue, bright green, white and black, reflecting the urban energy of Berlin’s skate scene.
Accompanying the collection is a video created by Berlin-based artist Finley Stewart from the interdisciplinary collective Tor Studio. The video showcases members of the Civilist crew rendered in low-poly style graphics, further emphasizing the collection’s blend of street culture and artistic expression.
