Kyrie Irving’s latest ANTA KAI 1 colorway is just as unpredictable as his offensive game on the court. Titled “KAILEIDOSCOPE,” the white/black/teal/crimson mixture is inspired by the Dallas Mavericks point guard’s smooth dribble moves, smart footwork and incalculable in-game strategy — his “offensive kaleidoscope,” the brand calls it.
“The ‘KAILEIDOSCOPE’ colorway is a testament to Kyrie’s game – constantly evolving, endlessly captivating, and always leaving opponents guessing,” said Shaneika Warden, ANTA’s color design director.
“We wanted to capture that energy and bring it to life through this colorway, allowing fans to experience a piece of Kyrie’s brilliance every time they lace up,” added designers Jared Subawon and Astin Davis.
In mode, the sneaker features a black and silver base (like that on a typical kaleidoscope toy), with strikes of teal and crimson accents across the facade. The tongue and inner lining boast subtle gradient hues, while the back of the midsole is exceptionally vibrant with a teal-crimson sectional that can’t be ignored.
