Ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics, Tracksmith has delivered a capsule inspired by the storied history of the Games, particularly the Opening Ceremony. Entitled the Federation Collection, the brand was inspired by Paris’ sartorial heritage and the newfound sporting culture radiating throughout the city.

Leading the capsule is the Federation Blazer, a silhouette that draws from the 1924 Paris Olympics and other Opening Ceremonies throughout the past century. Tracksmith teamed up with Emilie Hawtin of the women’s tailoring label Clementina to design a unisex cotton twill jacket. A clean but unstructured fit consists of a wide lapel and longer back vent, while subtle Tracksmith signatures come in the form of interior white piping and a custom version of its golden hare pin.

For day to day wear in the Olympic Village, Tracksmith has also created a ‘60s-inspired tracksuit made up of a matching stretch cotton jacket and pants. The tracksuit mirrors the same colorway of its Strata racing kit: a dark navy base with a gold and white stripe. Rounding out the collection are a few exclusive editions of its flagship Van Cortlandt pieces. A singlet, tee and shorts are available for men and women in exclusive ivory and blush colorways.

The brand has also designed another tee and sweatshirt that’ll be available solely at its pop-up in Paris, held in collaboration with Parisian brand Merci. The two brands previously unveiled a limited edition timepiece they created with Wind Vintage. The watch features a navy dial and calfskin leather band.

Tracksmith will have four athletes from its Amateur Support Program competing at the Games in Paris, including a javelin thrower, sprinter, hurdler and steeplechaser.

The Federation Collection is now available on the Tracksmith website. The blazer runs for $450 USD, while the track jacket and pants run for $150 apiece.
