Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman Are Working on New Non-Superhero Film
The pair is reprising their roles as Deadpool and Wolverine in the third ‘Deadpool’ movie.
As Deadpool & Wolverine rolls out in theaters, franchise lead Ryan Reynolds revealed that he and co-star Hugh Jackman are already working on a new film.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Reynolds confirmed that the upcoming movie will be a non-superhero offering. “We have one we’re looking to do soon,” he shared, but did not reveal any additional details about their next picture. He further opened up about his and Jackman’s working relationship, stating, “I would say that [ours] is like any relationship that is successful and works: It’s that two parties are rooting for each other.”
He continued, “I’m always rooting for Hugh to score and win. I also know the infinite nuance of his heart and his mind and who he is. I can say firsthand that he’s a person who’s not just worth rooting for, he’s somebody who’s impossible to not root for.”
The pair reprises their role as Deadpool and Wolverine in the third Deadpool film, which will follow them fighting a common enemy as they traverse different timelines.
