The Only NY x MTA Lamp Is Available for Preorder
After selling out in minutes last week.
Only NY – king of New York City-centric collaborations and capsules – has had to double down due to demand for its latest locally inspired release. After its MTA Table Lamp sold out in just a matter of minutes last week, the imprint has opened up another preorder for the highly sought-after piece of home decor built as part of its longwithstanding partnership with the MTA.

Arriving in homage to the retro MTA’s entry beacons from the 1980s and 1990s, the custom-designed lamp follows up Only NY’s recent standout home decor offering – the DSNY Home Waste Basket, which also landed as a desk-sized pencil case as well.
As for the lamp, it features a frosted glass dome complete with a screen-printed archival Metro ‘M’ stamp. The lamp rests on an iron base detailed with laser-etched branding, and a braided orange cord with a dimmable switch. Have a closer look at the lamp in the gallery above.
The Only NY x MTA Table Lamp retails for $168 USD and is available now to pre-order on Only NY’s official webstore. Pre-orders are open through the end of this week, Friday, July 19, with orders expected to ship in November.
