Lewis Hamilton Launches +44 "Home Turf" Collection
With special pieces by Leonard “Solider” Iheagwam.
Celebrated Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton has launched the limited-edition +44 “Home Turf” collection. Inspired by Hamilton’s home race at Silverstone, the collection blends vintage sports aesthetics, concert merchandise and iconic racewear.
The standout feature of the collection is a special capsule designed by Nigerian-born artist Leonard Iheagwam, also known as SOLDIER. His contributions include a black zip-up hoodie, a black crew neck tee, a vintage ringer tee and a summer tote bag, each adorned with unique graphics, including a reinterpretation of the iconic “I Love London” design and a hand-painted image of a young Lewis Hamilton.
The main +44 line offers an array of streetwear essentials: zip-up hoodies, tees, a reversible Alpha bomber, football jerseys, sweat shorts, and accessories like tote bags, bandanas and keychains. The pieces are distinguished by neon logos and raised ink graphics, with highlights including Hamilton’s childhood photos and his signature colors of purple and neon green.
Hamilton expressed his excitement, stating, “This collection is particularly special to me as it fuses sport, art, and self-expression, celebrating the creative spirit of London.” SOLDIER echoed this sentiment, noting the collection’s focus on the intersection of art, fashion and sports, drawing inspiration from Hamilton’s journey.
