Charles Leclerc and Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0% Want You to Know the Man Behind the Wheel

Charles Leclerc is in his element. The Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 driver has established himself as one of the greats, holding his seat on the Italian team since 2019. With 35 podium spots and six first-place victories, the Monegasque star envisions a limitless future behind the wheel. His teammate, Carlos Sainz, will depart Scuderia Ferrari next year, seeing Leclerc race alongside record-breaking British talent Lewis Hamilton in 2025.

Leclerc is more than just a racing driver. He has teamed up with Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0% to showcase his talents beyond the track, becoming the brewing company’s first-ever global brand ambassador. Peroni and Leclerc’s “0.0% to 100%” content series will document his daily life outside racing while traveling to Italy to “live every moment.” Set in the Alps of Lake Como, Leclerc will tour the waterside area and participate in fun-filled activities outlining Peroni’s easy-going image.

“My life is two-sided, for sure. I’ve got a very fast-paced life which is on track, and living every moment has a very literal meaning: whenever I’m behind the wheel, every lap I do is just incredible, and I know how lucky I am,” Leclerc tells Hypebeast. “I think living every moment is also living the simplest moments. I used to not realize how special those moments were. But the few moments you get to be with your loved ones, even the simplest ones, are the most special.”

The multi-year partnership will go from 0.0% to 100% with Peroni’s alcohol-free beer option, following Leclerc around Lake Como while touring local hotspots, offering motorsport tips, and enjoying life to the fullest. Encapsulating Peroni’s slogan, the Ferrari F1 star will kick back and relax while showcasing his winddown routine after an epic driving season. “When I’m not racing, I live the simplest moments with my family and friends, whether it’s an aperitivo at the end of the afternoon or being together around a barbecue. These simple moments, for me, are the most special ones and are the ones that I value the most. I think once you get to Formula 1, you are in an environment that is quite far from everyday life and the normal life that I enjoy.”

“My project with Peroni is very cool because it’s a side of me that I would love for people to discover more. Charles, not the driver; Charles, the person who is outside racing and has normal friends and is living a normal life. That’s what we are trying to do, to show a bit more of me as a person than the driver,” he says. The episodic series will portray Leclerc in a new light, seeing him unwind from his daily responsibilities this summer. “It’s important for the body and mind to just disconnect from high pressure in whatever work you are doing, but just to disconnect, spend time with your loved ones, and then go again for the next target.”

While maintaining his position as a top-tier F1 driver, Leclerc is cementing himself outside of racing with multiple ventures aligned with his laidback mentality. The athlete is accelerating into new avenues, from launching a low-calorie ice cream brand to joining Bang & Olufsen for supreme audio experiences. Peroni is his latest target, and we can’t wait to see what he does next.
