BlackEyePatch Reunites With G-SHOCK To Unveil a Minimalistic DW-5610 Watch

Tokyo-based label BlackEyePatch is reuniting with G-SHOCK for a new timepiece collaboration that fuses heavy-duty functionality with subtle streetwear flair. Doused in a minimal, two-tone color palette comprised of beige and navy blue, the DW-5610BEP-2 gives off industrial design cues that are synonymous with the Tokyo brand’s signature aesthetics.
Modeled after G-SHOCK’s DW-5610 model, the latest collab incorporates BlackEyePatch on both the watch face and metal caseback. Orange accents brighten up the watch face in the form of lettering and co-branding.
When backlight mode is enabled, the display also reveals the words “GENUINE PRODUCT” in English and kanji characters in the same vivid hue that can be seen on the external packaging as well. Just like all the previous collaborative watch models from the two, this new reference also features etchings of BlackEyePatch and “純正商品” (Genuine Product) on the caseback.
Priced at￥17,600 JPY (approx. $109 USD), the BlackEyePatch-collaborated DW-5610BEP-2 watch is currently open for pre-order via G-SHOCK’s Japanese website. The timepiece will be officially released on July 12 via the brand.
