J.L-A.L Reveals “STRATA” SS25 Men's Collection

Where geology meets haute couture.

Presented at Paris Fashion Week, _J.L-A.L‘s Spring/Summer 2025 “STRATA” collection explores geological epochs through fashion. The menswear line translates seismic formations into wearable art, featuring layered designs that mimic rock stratification, topped with bold textures and fine details that emulate mineral compositions.

Standout pieces include featherweight nylon shells with vented construction, translucent crushed hooded jackets layered over silk cotton and the Leather Eon jacket with meandering patterns. The 3D ultra-light knit Caldera Hoodie and garment-dyed Petra jacket with gathered shoulders are among some of the highlights, showcasing the designer’s attention to geological forms. Meanwhile, cool shirting expands into box pleats in styles such as the Mica set.

This sartorial study of natural processes offers a wardrobe where each piece embodies geological inquiry, blending form and function. Manufactured and distributed by Slam Jam, _J.L-A.L’s collection is available through select retailers worldwide.
