The fan-designed build recreates one of the 1975 movie’s most iconic scenes.

The LEGO Ideas line has brought fan designs to the masses for 16 years now, touching on themes ranging from beloved franchises like The Office to memorable objects such as the Polaroid OneStep SX-70 Camera. Now, LEGO has teamed up with Universal Products & Experiences to introduce not only a “brick-buster” mini film (embedded below) for the summer, but to release a JAWS-themed set too.
2025 marks the 50th anniversary of JAWS, and LEGO is commemorating the anniversary a year early with the introduction of its LEGO Ideas JAWS set. Designed by fan Jonny Campbell, the 1,497-piece build sees Martin Brody, Matt Hooper and Sam Quint return to the Orca boat in minifigure form. Of course, they’re being pursued by none other than the film’s vicious shark. The resulting scene is one that sees the boat — which is filled with references to the film — hanging off of its brick-built platform, with the shark taking a bite out of its stern.
For those interested in picking up the new LEGO Ideas JAWS set, it is set to release on August 6 via LEGO and select retailers at a starting price of $150 USD. Members of LEGO’s free Insiders program will be able to purchase the set early starting on August 3.
