Now, his next release is a “Garden State” colorway of the KAI 1 that has just been officially revealed by ANTA. Paying homage to Irving’s connection to the state of New Jersey, where he attended high school, the shoe is covered in a jade green that represents the area’s lush landscapes. This eco-inspired detail is backed by additional thematic notes such as the shoe body’s plant pattern and the strap’s plant texture.
Release for this “Garden State” colorway of the ANTA KAI 1 is scheduled to take place via ANTA and select retailers on July 20 at a starting price of $125 USD. However, fans can sign up now for early access via ANTA, providing the opportunity to shop the drop one hour before the general release.
