Casio’s Latest EDIFICE Timepiece Pays Homage to TOM's KP47 Starlet
Exuding a nostalgic and sporty vibe.
The latest addition to Casio’s EDIFICE line is a special edition timepiece paying homage to the TOM’s KP47 Starlet — an iconic race car by the Japanese racing team with several record-setting victories in the ‘70s.
White, red and green -the original vehicles’ emblematic color schemes- are incorporated into the honeycomb-style dial, sporting a texture emulating the Starlet’s purple front grille and 3K-R engine. The pattern on the inset dials draws inspiration from Igeta wheels, while the shorter end of the leather strap boasts textures that nod to KP47’s B-pillar.
This collaborative reference features a sturdy build and rugged 50mm x 44.5mm z 13.3mm case dimensions. It runs on stable solar power, while its sporty construction is capable of withstanding up to 10 ATM underwater.
The TOM’S 50th Anniversary Edition EFS-S641TMS retails for $300 USD and is currently available to shop via Casio’s website.
