Busta Rhymes Previews Potential Unreleased Remix of Kendrick Lamar's "Not Like Us"

Over the weekend, Busta Rhymes performed on the 2024 Essence Festival stage in New Orleans. During his performance, he surprised fans with what appears to be his own rendition of Kendrick Lamar‘s hard-hitting “Not Like Us” diss track.
The New York MC dropped a big hint that a potential unreleased remix of the track is coming. He previewed the track during his performance and fans could hear the rapper lay down his own bars in the reimagined version of the popular diss track. Previewing just a few moments of the upcoming remix, fans were eager to hear more but Busta did not confirm the release date of the track. It seems that he has picked a side, teasing the possible link up between the two.
During this year’s Essence Festival, Busta also called out fans who seemed to be uninterested and sitting down and filming on their phones. In a clip that surfaced online, he seems to go off on the audience saying, “A-yo, f**k them camera phones, too. Let’s get back to interacting like humans. Put them weird ass devices down. I ain’t from that era. Them shits don’t control the soul. F**k your phone.”
