The Los Angeles-born eyewear brand AKILA has a long roster of collaborations and sometimes the entities are repeat partners. One of those names is the estate of the celebrated rock band, The Beatles, who have united with AKILA for their second collaboration.

This time around, the AKILA x Beatles collection leans into the band’s integral self-titled album for two new eyewear models.  First up is the Blackbird which comes to life via a simple, square frame. The timeless design lends itself to sunglasses and eyeglasses variations that see hues of black, tortoise and gray acetate. Finishing off the silhouette is the embossed Beatles logo on the inside right temple.

Then the Good Night comes into play, which also derives its name from the self-titled album track. Fit for boldness, the Good Night features an oversized frame with a modern fit. The sunglasses model comes in shades of black and white with blue lenses. This frame is also complete with an interior embossed Beatles logo. Leaning into The Beatles’ mod era, both clean styles feature bio-acetate frames, scratch-resistant Optical Class 1 nylon lenses and 100% full UVA/UVB protection.

Check out the offering in the gallery above. The second AKILA x Beatles collection is slated for release on July 11 in-store at AKILA and online.
