42 Dugg Makes Studio Debut with '4eva Us Neva Them' Album
The 21-track offering sees features from Lil Baby, Sexyy Red, Jeezy and more.
Equipped with a handful of mixtapes and credible co-signs under his belt, 42 Dugg has deemed it’s time for his debut studio record. Entitled 4eva Us Neva Them, the project also marks Dugg’s first project since his hiatus which began in 2022 – and ended earlier this year with Dugg’s sold-out Detroit “Welcome Home” event, in which he enlisted Yo Gotti, Lil Durk, GloRilla, and others to commemorate.
The lengthy album spans 21 songs – including his previously released “Win Wit Us” and “N.P.O.” with Sexyy Red – and sees additional features from Lil Baby, Meek Mill, Last Ones Left collaborator EST Gee, Jeezy, Rylo Rodriguez and Blac Youngsta.
4eva Us Neva Them marks a return to form for Dugg, delivering the same gritty Midwest sound he began to establish on his Young & Turnt mixtape series and Free Dem Boyz LP. Yet Dugg’s two years off the music scene have seemed to ignite a newer confidence in the 29-year-old rapper, as he begins to tap into new pockets of trap music.
“My [favorite song is] probably “Fresh From The Feds” or “Still Bout You” lol I f*ck wit “Wrong Right” too though idk lol let me know something?????,” Dugg wrote in an Instagram post.
