Volkswagen has introduced new and refreshed versions of the Jetta and Jetta GLI, with notable updates like exterior and interior enhancements, alongside a more attractive starting price of $21,995 USD.

The 2025 Jetta GLI stands out with its sport-tuned performance and aesthetic upgrades. The new front and rear end treatments, including modernized grille designs and LED headlights, give the GLI a sleek, contemporary look. The rear now features a trunk lid with a standard light bar, adding a touch of elegance. New wheel options, including 18-inch alloys and an optional black-wheel package, further enhance its sporty appeal. The addition of two new exterior colors, Monterey Blue Pearl and Monument Gray, bolsters the upscale.

Inside, the Jetta GLI boasts a redesigned dash with an 8-inch floating infotainment display. The interior features new materials and decor, with the GLI uniquely equipped with perforated Vienna leather seats in Grey/Red Crust/Titan Black, highlighted by red contrast stitching.

Under the hood, the Jetta GLI is powered by a 2.0L EA888 engine, delivering 228 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. Buyers can choose between a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission or a six-speed manual gearbox, maintaining the model’s reputation for driving excitement.

Safety and convenience are front and center, with the IQ.DRIVE system standard across all models. This system includes features like Travel Assist, Front Assist, Active Blind Spot Monitor and Adaptive Cruise Control, ensuring a secure and comfortable driving experience.

The newly revamped Jetta and Jetta GLI are expected to hit U.S. dealerships by the end of Q3 2024.
