Tom Ford Spring 2025 Menswear Embraces Glamor

The 38-look collection embraces flashy styles from the ‘70s.

Tom Ford has ditched subtlety and embraced sexy styles for its Spring 2025 Menswear collection. The first menswear collection from Peter Hawkings, who was appointed creative director after Ford himself stepped down from the role in 2023, the collection keeps some ‘70s styles from his Fall 2024 collection but makes the menswear looks more fun and eye-catching to define his direction. All the looks are reminiscent of an era of nightlife long gone when men had to wear their finest or flashiest outfit — and sneakers and tees didn’t make the cut.

The collection pulls inspiration from rockstars of the past like Mick Jagger and David Bowie with simple, chic looks mixed in with colorful, loud styles that spare no print or embellishment. The looks start simple and sophisticated, the tone Hawkings previously set for menswear, with white and black pinstripe suits, turtlenecks and leather trenchcoats fully embodying a cool ‘60s style that will never go out of fashion. While the style evolves throughout the collection, oversized sunglasses a true Tom Ford staple, are paired with every look.

Eventually, the collection begins peacocking with a series of pastel-colored lustrous suits paired with either pearly black ties or skinny sequin scarves with tassels at the end. Some of these suits swap blazers with bomber jackets and trench coats for a more relaxed look. Bold fuchsia and turquoise styles follow like velvet trousers paired with a button-down and turtleneck combo and a fully fuchsia suit guaranteed to turn heads.

The collection culminates with full disco glamor as an overload of patterns and sequins adorns the ‘70s blouse—trouser combination and blazers. Different shades of gold pop up on blazers and trousers while a tasteful leopard print, either embossed or traditional is displayed on blazers and blouses. A floral print also appears towards the end of the collection and sequin bomber jackets in black and silver close it out.
