Update: Hyperice and Nike have announced a release date and pricing information for the long-awaited Hyperboot. Designed with both mobile warm-ups and “active recovery” in mind, the Hyperboot offers both heat and compression massage, the latter of which arrives via Hyperice’s Normatec air bladder technology. Together, the heat and compression loosen muscles and tissues in the foot and ankle, enabling athletes to be looser and more limber both before and after athletic activity. The boots offer three levels of heat and compression, all controlled via simple buttons on their medial heel, and can either be synced or apply individual levels to each foot.

Original Story: Athletic apparel, performance and recovery all fall under the greater sports umbrella. So it makes sense that leaders Nike and Hyperice have teamed up for a wearable technology collaboration – fusing their affinities for improved sports performance.

Without question, Nike has been known for its success in apparel and footwear, while Hyperice is toted as a leader in recovery tech with its signature Normatec Elite leg recovery systems and more. By putting their heads together, the collaboration introduces the Nike x Hyperice boot and Nike x Hyperice vest.

Leading the charge is the boot, which provides heat and air compression on the feet and ankles – seeing Hyperice’s dual-air Normatec bladers technology. On its heels is the vest, which boasts heating and cooling capabilities without ice. Additionally, the vest helps players regulate their body temperatures during warmups and cooldowns for peak performance.

“Recovery is an important part of any athlete’s journey, but we’re hearing from athletes that this concept of ‘pre-covery’ is equally as important,” says Tobie Hatfield, Senior Director, Nike Athlete Innovation. “The footwear and vest that we’ve developed with Hyperice help get the body ready for activity, whether you’re playing for a title or you’re on your feet a lot at work.”
