G-SHOCK Introduces Bold and Futuristic GA-V01 Watch
Arriving in four distinct colorways.

Original Story: It’s been a while since G-SHOCK has unveiled a whole new model. Launching exclusively in China, the GA-V01 boasts a quirky new silhouette that evokes a Y3K aesthetic.
According to the brand, the new design embodies an “Open V World” theme — a futuristic concept that promotes individuality without limitations. Boasting a bold case shape, the new model features raised hour markers clamped onto a curved spherical glass display, which exudes a bold and impactful first impression that is also impact-absorbent.
The futuristic mood is further elaborated with an equally bold and individualistic dial design, which arrives in a butterfly-esque shape. Adorning the watch face are large hands, which include a magnetic minute hand that helps to reduce impact. The timepiece is complete with an integrated bezel and matching rubber strap.
Prices range from ¥990 – ¥1,090 RMB (approx. $137 – $150 USD), the GA-V01 is available via G-SHOCK China in four distinct colorways: Silver, Neon Green, Purple and Black.
