'Kaiju No. 8 THE GAME' Receives First Official Trailer
Teasing a new offering in the franchise.
Akatsuki Games has debuted the first official trailer of Kaiju No. 8 THE GAME, the video game offering of Naoya Matsumoto’s popular Kaiju No. 8 manga/anime.
The visual arrives just after the release of episode 10, with the game being provided and promoted by Production I.G and Toho. While a release date is yet to be announced, it was confirmed that the title will be available to play on mobile and PC, with the trailer teasing its design style and gameplay.
Its anime counterpart premiered earlier this April, with the franchise’s story following Kafka Hibino, a man who gets the ability to turn into a kaiju after swallowing one. At the same time, however, he must fulfill a promise to his friend to enlist in The Defense Force — an organization that protects humanity from the Kaijus.
