Johnnie Walker Embraces the Legacy of 'Scotch & Golf' As Title Sponsor of Hypegolf Invitational
The Johnnie Walker Clubhouse at Hypegolf Invitational is serving up classic cocktails and a limited-edition fashion capsule with Devereux.

Johnnie Walker is the title sponsor of this year’s Hypegolf Invitational held in Los Angeles. The once buttoned-up sport has landed at the intersection of fashion and art, ushering a new generation of players to the fore. The Johnnie Walker Clubhouse at Hypegolf Invitational will celebrate this spirit of inclusion with the Hypegolf community and the greater LA area during an exciting 18-hole tournament.
Johnnie Walker is reconnecting with its golf roots this summer. The premium whiskey maker most recently took to the green with lifestyle golf brand Devereux, founded by brothers Will and Brett Brunner in 2013. Though Devereux’s retro designs pay homage to golf’s past, the brand looks to the horizon with a tongue-in-cheek visual language and slouchy, relaxed silhouettes to match. The “Johnnie Walker Golf Collection” slyly nods to a timeless pairing rooted in tradition: “Scotch & Golf.” Tapping next-gen scotch lovers and golfers, the collaborative collection celebrates Johnnie Walker’s heritage ties to golf while embracing the vibrant energy of players newly entering the sport. Currently live, the collection will continue to roll out in limited-edition capsules over the next 18 months during notable moments on the golf calendar.
In the meantime, golf fans are gearing up for the Johnnie Walker Clubhouse coming to Hypegolf Invitational. Following the U.S. Open on Father’s Day weekend, the one-day golf extravaganza is kicking off with a series of mini-golf competitions and branded activations by Topgolf, Sega Sonic, Puma Cobra, Topgolf, G-Shock, J. Lindeberg and more. LA-based restaurant El Pollo Loco is treating attendees to delicious SoCal-style specialties, including fire-grilled burritos, stuffed quesadillas and savory side dishes. While enjoying signature scotch cocktails — boozy classics such as The Johnnie Palmer, the Blue in One and the KEEP WALKING 18 — attendees can get a peek of the Johnnie Walker x Devereux collection as they make their rounds on the course.
