The three MetroCards feature either a black and white portrait of the band or photographs by by Steven Siegel, whose imagery from the ’80s served as an inspiration for the album. The cards are only available at select MetroCard vending machines at 14 St-Union Square and Grand Central-42 St station.
Earlier this month, the MTA unveiled similar MetroCards featuring the Bronx’s very own Ice Spice. The corporation also joined in on hip-hop’s 50th anniversary celebrations, releasing MetroCards featuring LL Cool J, Rakim, Cam’ron and Pop Smoke.
