Born X Raised and © SAINT M ×××××× Return With Second Made-in-Japan Collaboration
Featuring satin varsity jackets, tattoo-covered hoodies, mock-neck longsleeves and more.
© SAINT M ××××××, the fashion brainchild of Japanese designer Yuta Hosokawa and SoCal visual artist Cali Dewitt, has reunited with Los Angeles streetwear stalwart Born X Raised for a second collection of made-in-Japan pieces. Building on the codes established in their inaugural collaboration two years ago, the duo has just revealed a new lineup doused in chaotic-good graphics and logo-blending signage.
Nodding to vintage souvenir jackets, the collection’s hero is a satin varsity jacket finished with a black-grey color scheme. The design features several iconographic illustrations, including a “Born-Saint” badge on the chest and a cross motif on the back.
Hoodies and mock-neck longsleeves, meanwhile, employ all-over prints filled with eclectic bunches of tattoo designs. On both silhouettes, studded embellishments bring to life the crossover logo in BXR’s signature Old English typeface. Rounding out the lineup, black and white mock-neck T-shirts flaunt the dual-branded stamp just below the collar.
As a personal touch, the campaign stars longtime friends 2TONE, co-founder of Born X Raised, and © SAINT M ××××××’s Dewitt, alongside several models.
Born X Raised’s second © SAINT M ×××××× collaboration will launch via BXR’s webstore on Friday, May 3, at 12 p.m. PT. The line is presently available to shop in © SAINT M ××××××’s stockists. Explore the range in the gallery above.
