AUDREY NUNA continues to take 2024 by storm. After releasing “Starving” with Teezo Touchdown earlier this year, the ethereal and enigmatic songstress has unveiled “Jokes On Me”, an out-of-this-world ode to exploration.

Drenched in autotune and carried by a dreamy electronic triple drum beat, “Jokes On Me” comes with an outer space-set visual component as well. The Gabriel Dugué-directed music video is another captivating one for NUNA’s visual archive, and sees the songstress traversing the galaxies on her own, stepping through the interstellar universe in her all-white space suit.

“I wrote this song in Joshua Tree around close friends,” Audrey said about the single. “The melody and words were inspired by the guitar chords that were playing. We were all sitting around in a dark home studio set-up and the melody was a one-take. Being around people that I could feel vulnerable with allowed the song to happen naturally. It’s a song about going through ups and downs with someone to realize in the end that the irony is pointing right back at you.”

As for the “Jokes On Me” cover art, AUDREY dons a captivating piece designed by SYKY Collective member Fanrui Sun from the “Glamour as Armour” collection. The collection, in which AUDREY is a collaborator on, encapsulates the high-fashion fusion of futuristic and medieval styles.
