Moneybagg Yo is gearing up for the release of his fifth studio album, Speak Now. Over the past few years, the rapper has been especially prolific.

In 2021, he released the platinum-certified LP A Gangsta’s Pain. He followed that up with Hard to Love last year, a more introspective record that he described as just one of his “Heartless” editions.

“The sound of the record comes from how I was feeling when I made it,” Bagg told Hypebeast. “It’s those feelings that fans want more of. It’s the foundation of my music, so they want to hear more of it. It’s The flow, the production, just the type of how you feel when you come at it.”

Ahead of dropping Speak Now later this month, Bagg has revealed the cover art for the album: an image of him, half-photograph, half-stenciled drawing.

Along with the reveal, the rapper also dropped another single from the project, “TRYNA MAKE SURE.”

Stream Moneybagg Yo’s “TRYNA MAKE SURE” everywhere now. Speak Now is out in full on May 24.
